I hear you! It's so cool to see what happens when you let the lawn go for a while. The drawback is when you finally have to mow you feel like you're destroying something amazing. A compromise I have found is to let certain parts go completely wild and maintain paths and important areas near the house as usual.
I immediately assumed a "mini pochette" was the name of one of the flowers in the photos... I guess I'm as ignorant of fashion as I am of horticulture.
I am super excited to put off mowing my lawn for as long as possible. Now to get my husband to start carrying a purse.
