I would love to have a pawpaw patch here. Unfortunately I've never gotten them going.
They are completely effortless to grow here. They grow like weeds all around us. Apparently they grow wild in Texas but only in the extreme eastern part.
I see them around east Texas while hiking but not to the thicket of them they seem to be in other areas of the country. Very cool plants, for sure!
